Nominate a Deserving Firefighter!

GSFA Annual Award Nominations Due July 15th

 

Since 1972, GSFA has recognized firefighters through its annual recognition program.  Award recipients will be recognized at the 2026 Firefighters Recognition Day. Recognition is given for the following categories:

 

Company Officer of the Year

Dave Gray Memorial Leadership Award

Educator of the Year

Firefighter of the Year

Instructor of the Year

Life Saving Valor Award

Rookie of the Year

 

 All nominations must be received no later than July 15, 2025. For nomination forms and more information,  click here.

Fire Department Grant & Scholarship Applications 


Application Deadline: July 15, 2025 



Applications must be received by GSFA by the deadline. A drawing will be held at the 2025 Georgia Fire Service Conference scheduled for September 30 - October 4, 2025 in Forsyth, Georgia from those individuals that submit qualified applications meeting all scholarship eligibility & grant requirements. GSFA will award up to six scholarships in the amount of $500 and up to two grants in the amount of $1000.
